Draft cards to design the most appealing beach and street in sunny southern California.
Who it's for
You like building a small tableau where card combos matter, and you want a sunny theme in under an hour. Good for two, but still works with four.
Not for you ifβ¦
You want direct conflict or a big, heavy game. Interaction is mostly through what you take from the display.
Vibe's take
Relaxed but tricky: every draft pick helps you and quietly denies someone else. The beach and street slowly turn into a little scoring machine you built yourself.
You are building the most inviting stretch of Southern California, and you do it one feature card at a time. Each turn you draft a card from the display and add it either to your beach or to your street. Quiet nature beach, buzzing tourist strip, or something in between that charms the locals: the cards work together to score victory points, and the best combos come from choosing a direction and committing. It is a compact tableau and set-collection game with a pleasant seaside mood, around 45 minutes, and the most points win.
