About this game

Railway Rivals hands you a marker instead of a token, because your railway is a line you literally draw across the map. Every hex you cross costs building allowance, and crossing or running alongside a rival's track costs you money too, so the map fills up with everyone's competing claims scratched right onto the board. It started life as a geography teacher's classroom tool for showing how terrain shapes real railways, and that DNA still shows, part game, part lesson in why train lines go where they go. Niche, tactile, and genuinely clever for anyone who likes building their own map.
