About this game
Quips gives everyone their own board full of little holes and a very simple mission: fill it with the right colored wooden pegs before anyone else does. One die tells you the color, the other tells you how many pegs you get to grab, and since every player's board asks for a different mix of colors, no two people are racing toward quite the same finish line. It is built for very young players, more about matching colors and counting pegs than any real decision-making, and the four included variants keep it fresh long after the first few plays. There is something satisfying about physically filling a board with chunky wooden pieces that a screen simply cannot replicate. A calm, tactile way to teach a three-year-old their colors while still feeling like a real game.
