Spell words with a growing hand of letter cards and be the first to go out.
Who it's for
You enjoy word games and a bit of speed, and want something card-based with a strong puzzle feel. Plays from one to eight.
Not for you ifβ¦
You dislike spelling games or are in a group with very uneven vocabularies. Word skill matters here.
Vibe's take
Puzzly and quietly competitive, with a satisfying click when your hand suddenly forms words. The growing hands keep each round a bit harder.
A word game that gets harder every round. It lasts eight rounds, starting with three cards in hand, then four, then five, and so on. Cards show one or two letters and carry point values. On your turn you draw from the deck or the discard pile and discard one. Once you can spell your whole hand in words (each at least two cards), keeping one to discard, you go out; everyone else gets one last turn to play what they can. Used cards score, cards left in hand subtract, and bonuses go to the player with the most words and the player with the longest word. There's a solo mode too, and a little luck keeps experts from running away with it.
