Who it's for

You liked Point Salad and want a bit more engine-building. Good for couples and small groups who like tidy card puzzles.

Not for you if…

You want theme-heavy storytelling or lots of player conflict. It is a drafting puzzle with a city skin.

Vibe's take

Smooth and puzzly. You scan the grid, grab a pair that fits, and enjoy the little click when a building snaps into place. Interaction is mostly who takes what first.

About this game

From the designers of Point Salad comes a card game about building a city out of 150-plus building cards, so each game ends with a different skyline. On your turn you take two adjacent cards from a shared grid and add them to your city. Resource cards and bonuses help you pay for buildings that need particular combinations, and special civic structures multiply your points. It is the same drafting-and-combos itch as Point Salad, just with an engine-building layer of resources on top. Play in about half an hour with one to four players, or solo against the system, and see who is the best urban planner.
