A deck-builder where vampires and werewolves hit each other instead of piling up points quietly.
Who it's for
You like deck-building but want more conflict. A good fit for groups who enjoy horror theme and a bit of aggression.
Not for you ifβ¦
You prefer peaceful engine-building where nobody attacks you. Direct attacks mean some players can get picked on.
Vibe's take
Aggressive and snappy. You build while swinging, and every purchase doubles as an attack plan. You feel the pressure from other players rather than playing solitaire next to them.
Nightfall is a deck-building game where the sun has gone out and vampires, werewolves and ghouls claim the dark. Instead of building economic engines in peace, you attack your opponents directly, so every turn is a mix of growing your deck and hitting back. Cards come from a shared supply, and you add them to your own deck to get sharper, nastier and more resilient. It is fast and furious, with direct head-to-head combat, a tabletop world full of monsters, and a take-that edge that keeps everyone paying attention. If you like Dominion but wish it had teeth, this is the one.
