About this game

Mississippi Queen races a fleet of paddle steamers down a river to New Orleans that does not fully exist yet, because you are laying its hexes as you go. Push your speed wheel too high and a sharp bend leaves you fighting the current, hold back and you can dock properly to pick up the two passengers you actually need to win. Boats can even shove each other out of the way mid-race, at a cost, which turns a friendly cruise into something delightfully petty. A Spiel des Jahres winner that plays light and fast, with just enough tension in every reveal of the next river tile.
