Grow a card garden together, then snatch the flower right before it blooms.
Who it's for
You like gentle, good-looking games but still want someone to pull off a clever steal. Works well with three, and you can also play alone.
Not for you ifβ¦
You want zero conflict. Kill-stealing is the heart of the game, so a rival picking your flower is normal.
Vibe's take
Calm and pretty on the surface, quietly mean underneath. You spend a few turns building up a flower, then hold your breath while someone else eyes it.
Lotus is a card game about tending a garden that looks different every time you play. On your turn you add petals to the flowers growing in the middle of the table and try to hold the strongest claim when a blossom finally opens. Creature cards in your hand bend the rules in small, sneaky ways, so a flower you carefully nursed can end up in a rival's hands. Picking a flower pays out wisdom, and the wisest gardener wins. The layered cards slowly turn the table into something pretty to look at, and there is a solo mode when you want the garden to yourself.
