Six survivors, one boat, secret loves and enemies: who goes overboard before land comes into sight?
Who it's for
You enjoy table talk, bluffing and a bit of shameless backstabbing in a group of four to six. Good if you like arguing over who gets fed to the sharks.
Not for you ifβ¦
You dislike player elimination or being targeted. Someone will be pushed off the boat, and it is rarely the person who deserves it.
Vibe's take
Loud, scheming and full of negotiation. If you do not pay attention, you suddenly sit in a boat from which your own favorite passenger has just been thrown.
Six strangers, one lifeboat, not enough water. Some of the barrels floating around turn out to hold jewels and art instead, which immediately makes everyone's ethics wobbly. Each round is one day at sea: you play cards to row, to grab the quartermaster's seat, to loot, or to quietly make your least favorite passenger someone else's problem β ideally the sharks'. Every player secretly has a love and an enemy among the passengers, and the boat can reach land at any moment, so nobody knows how long an alliance needs to hold. It is a small, mean, funny card game of trading and shoving people overboard, closer to a sailing-themed betrayal fest than to a survival simulation.
