Vibe's take
tactile, satisfying, playful, sensory, lighthearted
Kayanak turns your kitchen table into an ice floe. A paper sheet stands in for the frozen surface, and you punch actual holes in it to go fishing for steel balls hidden underneath, guided by a magnetic rod and whatever dice tell you to do that turn. Big fish score more than small ones, but landing on the wrong ice floe or drifting too far in the cold can cost you a turn entirely. It is tactile in a way few games manage, genuinely satisfying to physically punch through the ice, and quick enough to fish for round after round.
