A two-phase real-time game where you cut a sheet of paper into shapes, then race to piece it back together.
Who it's for
Players who enjoy quirky, novel mechanics and don't mind a bit of physical dexterity alongside light planning.
Not for you ifβ¦
You want a game with strategic depth or replay variety beyond the gimmick β Cut It leans entirely on its one clever idea, which some tables will burn through quickly.
Vibe's take
Playful and a little frantic β the calm planning of the cutting phase gives way to a genuine scramble once the reassembly clock is running.
Cut It splits into two very different halves: first you carefully cut a sheet of paper into ten pieces, trying to plan out the most valuable shapes for what's coming. Then, once the dice start rolling, you race to reassemble that same sheet as fast as possible, because every second of delay costs you points. It's part puzzle, part real-time scramble, built around a genuinely unusual central gimmick.
