One player is a shark nobody can see, and the rest of you have sixty minutes to find it first.
Who it's for
Movie fans and asymmetric-game lovers who want genuine hidden-movement dread on a licensed board.
Not for you ifβ¦
You dislike hunt-and-hide asymmetric games or need a light, breezy session, because Jaws is tense by design.
Vibe's take
tense, thematic, asymmetric, dreadful, cinematic
Jaws splits your table into predator and prey: one player becomes the shark, moving in complete secrecy around Amity Island while the other one to three players play Brody, Hooper and Quint, racing to pinpoint its location and save swimmers before it strikes. Survive that opening act and the game flips the board over for the Orca phase, a claustrophobic final battle aboard a sinking ship where the humans fight to finish the shark off before it takes the boat down with everyone on it. Character and event cards keep both sides adapting, and the hidden movement genuinely recreates that dread of not knowing where the shark actually is.
