Build toy-sized resorts on the board and make your friends pay for a stay.
Who it's for
You like the idea of Monopoly with chunkier pieces, or you want a nostalgic 1970s property game for four. Kids who like building will enjoy the tower-making side.
Not for you ifβ¦
You want tight strategy or short games. Dice decide most of the story, and property games like this can drag when one player pulls ahead.
Vibe's take
Cheerful, chatty, and very luck-driven. The best part is physically building your hotel piece by piece, and the worst is paying big for a night in someone else's.
Hotel is a 1974 property game where the buildings actually rise from the board. You roll and move, buy land, put up structures, and add the driveways and entrances that turn a pile of plastic into a working resort. Each part is bought separately, and the fancier the hotel, the more guests owe when they land on it. Auctions settle who gets what, and landing on an opponent's property costs you real money. You win by bankrupting the table or ending as the richest owner. If you have played Monopoly and thought it needed more tiny plastic, this is for you. If you want strategy, it is mostly a luck race with a lovely table presence.
