A two-player mafia duel about collecting the most valuable gangsters with clever combos.
Who it's for
You want a short, tricky card duel for two with a funny gangster theme. Also nice if you play alone sometimes and want a quick puzzle.
Not for you ifβ¦
You need three or more players, or you dislike drafting from an open pool. Games can also tip on a single strong combo, which may not suit everyone.
Vibe's take
A quick, clever duel where you constantly weigh upgrading now against saving cards for a bigger move. The humour of the mafia theme keeps the mood light even when you are being thoroughly out-maneuvered.
Famiglia is a two-player mafia card duel where the mob families are your tools. You collect gangsters of four families, and the trick is that two identical gangsters of the same family and value let you grab the next higher one, pushing a smaller gangster from your hand into your play area. To climb faster, you use the families' special abilities, and every ability does something slightly nasty or clever. The goal is to have the best gang at the end. It is quick, tricky and funny, with a tongue-in-cheek Godfather mood. It also works as a solo challenge.
