Ten frantic real-time minutes of shouting for dice help before the temple soundtrack seals your fate.
Who it's for
Groups who like their co-op loud and stressful, and anyone who enjoys a game short enough to play three times in a row.
Not for you if…
Time pressure and simultaneous shouting stress you out, because this game runs entirely on both.
Vibe's take
frantic, loud, tense, fast, replayable
Escape: The Curse of the Temple locks your whole table into ten frantic real-time minutes with a soundtrack literally counting down your doom. Everyone rolls dice simultaneously, chasing the symbol combos that open doors, reveal new rooms, or free a trapped teammate, and there is zero waiting for your turn because turns basically do not exist. Rooms with matching gem colors need two people rolling together, so you are constantly shouting for help across the table. It is loud, a little stressful and over almost as fast as it starts, which is exactly why it gets replayed the same night.
