About this game

Castle Ravenloft turns Dungeons & Dragons into a board game you can start playing in minutes, no dungeon master required. Each player picks a hero, ranger, rogue, cleric, wizard or warrior, and together you push through a castle built tile by tile as you explore, so every game reveals a different layout, ambush and encounter. Combat runs on dice and simple stat checks rather than a rulebook's worth of exceptions, and defeated monsters hand out treasure and experience that let your hero grow mid-game. Multiple scenarios and a genuinely tense difficulty curve give it real replay value. A great entry point if D&D always sounded fun but a full campaign felt like too much commitment.
