A fantasy duel where the dungeon rotates under your feet and the weakest goblin is worth two points.
Who it's for
You and one regular opponent want a clever, tactical duel with fantasy flavor. Perfect if you enjoy planning three moves ahead and bluffing.
Not for you ifβ¦
You need a game for more than two or you dislike head-to-head conflict. It only works as a duel, and learning the character powers takes a game or two.
Vibe's take
Tactical and sneaky, like chess played inside a rotating maze. Each team member has a role, and winning means using them in the right order.
A duel in a dungeon that keeps rearranging itself. Two players each lead a team of adventurers with fixed, different talents: runners, a fighter, a cleric who heals, a magician who sets everything on fire, and a goblin so frail that simply dragging him out alive is worth two points. The board is made of eight rooms that you can slide and rotate, so a corridor can turn into a wall right in your opponent's face. You spend actions to walk, grab items, fight or twist rooms, and cards decide how fights end. First to five victory points, by escaping or by killing, wins. It rewards clever positioning, bluffing about what you can still do, and a sense of when to run.
