A solo dice game where you assign your crew to survive a trap in deep space until rescue arrives.
Who it's for
You like solitaire games, dice and sci-fi, and want a compact challenge to play alone in half an hour.
Not for you ifβ¦
You need other players or hate dice luck. It's solo only, and rolls can sink a run.
Vibe's take
Tense and puzzly, with every roll forcing a trade-off. You are rarely sure you did the right thing, which is exactly how a besieged captain feels.
Deep Space D-6 is a solo dice game where you are a UEF captain whose starship answered a distress call that turned out to be a trap. Now you must hold out until a rescue fleet arrives. Each turn you roll your crew dice and assign them to stations on the ship, deciding who deals with threats inside and outside the hull. The planning is the fun part: not enough dice for everything, so you pick which fire to fight first. It is a print-and-play, plays alone in about half an hour and feels like a tense ship-bridge puzzle in a small package.
