Buy facade tiles and fit them into the colorful houses of Nyhavn.
Who it's for
You like spatial puzzles and tidy planning, and you want a pleasant game that looks great when finished. Good at four, too.
Not for you ifβ¦
You want direct confrontation or lots of dice drama. Here you mostly build on your own side of the table.
Vibe's take
Calm and puzzly, with a satisfying click when a tile slots in cheaply. Interaction happens mostly through the shared card display.
Copenhagen puts you in charge of the colorful gabled houses along the Nyhavn harbor. On your turn you either take two neighboring cards from the display (never holding more than seven) or spend cards to buy a facade tile in one of many shapes and colors, then fit it onto your house. The clever bit is the discount: place a tile touching one of the same color and it gets cheaper, so you plan your wall like a puzzle. Building over certain spaces or finishing marked rows hands you handy abilities. It plays like a gentle tile-laying puzzle with a pinch of card economy, and the result looks lovely on the table.
