Bet on fantasy monsters in a colosseum and decide, card by card, which one dies each round.
Who it's for
You like card games where you plot against the table, a little betting and bluffing, and a fantasy backdrop without any dungeon crawling. Shines with three.
Not for you ifβ¦
You want a calm, cooperative evening. The take-that cards and shifting alliances can sting.
Vibe's take
Scheming and tense, with everyone steering the same fight from different angles. The bluffing and card play matter more than luck.
You aren't fighting here, you're betting. A fantasy colosseum is full of monsters, and you are the crowd, putting money on who will survive. Each round, one creature dies. Players decide which by laying numbered power cards in front of the creatures, and the lowest total goes to the graveyard. The trick is that your bets also unlock the creature's special power in the fight, so you want to back the right one and quietly sabotage the wrong one. The gambling and the table diplomacy get tense fast. Whoever has collected the most winnings by the end is the winner, and everyone else is an unlucky spectator.
