Be the roommate who does the least work and slacks off best, while the others sabotage your day.
Who it's for
You are a group of friends who enjoy nerdy in-jokes, bad luck cards and mild backstabbing. Good for a loose evening, ideally with four or five.
Not for you if…
You dislike take-that or want a game with careful planning. Your best-built week can be shredded by a single play.
Vibe's take
Chatty, cheeky and mean in the funniest way: you build a perfect lazy week, then somebody wrecks it with one card. The jokes carry the game as much as the rules do.
Chez Geek is a card game about being a roommate who does the absolute minimum. You get a Job card with free time, income and a special ability, and your goal is to rack up Slack, the fine art of doing nothing. You play life cards in front of you, from hobbies and snacks to dates, and meanwhile your roommates dump bad luck on you: a sudden shift at work, a broken thing, unwanted guests. It parodies geek culture and shared flats with plenty of in-jokes, and the nastiest move is always one card away. Best with a group that laughs at its own messy lives.
