Build a Lovecraft deck and duel another player over who controls the world's dread.
Who it's for
Two players who like Lovecraft and enjoy building and tuning decks. Keep in mind the game is collectible, so the card pool matters.
Not for you ifβ¦
You want a one-box game without collecting or deck building. The best experience depends on the cards you own.
Vibe's take
Tense and slightly eerie, with fast games that reward deck building as much as play. The setting leans on the unknown.
Call of Cthulhu: The Card Game is a two-player duel built on the weird fiction of H.P. Lovecraft. Cosmic powers want the world for their unfathomable ends, and human agencies work to stop them. You build a deck from a collectible card pool, then play it against your opponent's in a quick contest of cunning and nerve. Games run about half an hour, and the lingering dread is as much a part of the experience as the cards. Best for two players who already like the mythos and enjoy tuning a deck.
