Match the animals in your hand with face-down cards on the table and be the first to empty your hand.
Who it's for
You are playing with a child around five who is working on memory and taking turns. Adults can join without being bored, because the game is quick.
Not for you ifβ¦
You want a challenge for older kids or adults. The rules are for young children, and there is not much to decide beyond remembering.
Vibe's take
A gentle memory game with a gentle pulse: flip, wince, remember, flip again. Little kids feel clever each time they recall where the worm was.
A memory game for small children, starring birds, worms, and other farmyard-ish creatures. Everyone gets a hand of colorful cards. About twenty matching cards are scattered face down around the table. On your turn you try to find a match for one of your cards by turning over a card from the table. If it matches, your card is out of your hand. If not, you put it back, remember where it was, and wait for your next try. Whoever empties their hand first wins. By Golly! belongs to Zoch's Chicken Family, a set of games for the youngest players, so the rules are simple and a round is over in a quarter of an hour.
