Who it's for

Card-drafting and tableau-building fans who want real depth and replayability, and don't mind a learning curve that pays off over multiple plays.

Not for you if…

Vibe's take

Reactive and layered–early games feel like you're only scratching the surface, and it takes a few plays before risk management and sequencing really click.

About this game

Beasts and Diplomacy casts you as a Knight of Aterra assembling the finest exhibition of wild and rare beasts to impress a court of diplomats. Card drafting drives the action, but instead of racing to grab scarce cards, the game rewards spotting opportunities your opponents leave open and reacting fast with short-term plans. You're also juggling secret Quests and Ore for mounting maintenance costs, across three days of drafting before your exhibition is judged.
