Deck-building for ice-age survivors, with skirmishes where bluffing counts as much as strength.
Who it's for
You enjoy deck-builders like Dominion but want more player interaction and a bit of poker-face tension. Four players is the sweet spot.
Not for you ifβ¦
You want a purely peaceful engine builder, or you dislike hidden-information bluffing. Skirmishes can cost you cards you were counting on.
Vibe's take
Grim setting, brisk play. You build quietly, then suddenly everyone is guessing what the others committed to the next fight. Tense but friendly enough once the bluffing starts.
It is 2097, a new ice age has wiped out most of humanity, and you lead a small tribe of survivors. This is a deck-builder where your deck is your people: you start with a handful of weak scavengers and grow into a crew of tool users, healers and hired muscle. Each round you dig for supplies, hire help and send fighters to skirmish over contested resources, where you can bluff about how strong your force really is. The tribe with the most people at the end wins. If Dominion has ever felt a bit polite to you, this one adds head-to-head fights and hidden bluffing to the card buying.
