A brisk card-driven wargame where you fight the American Revolution one flag at a time.
Who it's for
History fans and light wargamers who want real area control conflict without committing to a monster-length simulation.
Not for you ifβ¦
Direct military conflict and card-driven systems aren't your thing, because this is a wargame through and through.
Vibe's take
tense, tactical, historical, competitive, brisk for a wargame
1775: Rebellion puts you in charge of one side of the American Revolution, moving Continental soldiers and Patriots against Redcoats and Loyalists across the thirteen colonies. Cards drive your every move, custom dice settle battles fast, and calling in Native American allies, Hessian mercenaries or the French fleet can tip a losing war around. Controlling a colony plants your flag there, and when the Treaty of Paris finally gets signed, whoever holds the most flags wins. It plays lean for a card-driven wargame, brisk enough for an evening, but still asks you to think in fronts, timing and asymmetric strengths.
