Carcassonne reimagined as a tight two-player duel where the castle walls create the scoring track.

Who it's for
Couples and two-player fans who love Carcassonne but want a tighter, more competitive experience designed specifically for two.
Not for you if…
You prefer the open-ended feel of original Carcassonne or need a game for more than two players.
Knizia reimagines Carcassonne as a tight two-player duel within the walls of a medieval castle. The wall itself serves as the scoring track, with bonus tokens placed at intervals that reward whoever reaches them first. The enclosed space creates more direct competition than the original, as every tile placement directly affects your opponent. Houses, towers, markets, and keeps score differently, demanding adaptive strategy as the castle interior fills up.
