Who it's for
Auction game lovers and Knizia fans who appreciate elegant economic design with Egyptian flavor.
Not for you ifβ¦
You dislike auctions as a core mechanic. Nearly every decision involves bidding.
Acquire Egyptian provinces through auctions, farm the land, and build pyramids that score twice: once in the Old Kingdom and again in the New Kingdom. The central auction for provinces creates fierce competition, and the offering to Amun-Re determines the harvest level for everyone. Between the two scoring periods, all money and provinces reset but pyramids remain, fundamentally changing the value of each province. Knizia at peak form: a clean, elegant euro with genuine tension in every auction and offering.
