The original hidden-role party game where an entire room turns into a village hunting the wolves among them.
Who it's for
Big groups and parties who love arguing, bluffing and reading faces, the louder and more accusatory the better.
Not for you ifβ¦
You dislike being accused, lying convincingly or getting voted out early, because elimination and finger-pointing are the whole point.
Vibe's take
loud, suspicious, dramatic, social, chaotic
Werewolf turns a room full of people into a village hunting itself. Roles get dealt in secret, night falls, the werewolves silently choose a victim, and morning brings accusations, alibis and increasingly desperate voting as the village tries to lynch its way to safety. Nobody truly knows who is lying, which means the best move is often just watching faces while everyone else argues. Since 1986 this has spawned a hundred variants and inspired half of modern social deduction gaming, but the original is still just paper roles, a moderator and a room willing to get loud.
