About this game
Valley of the Vikings hands you a mini bat and a wobbly dock full of barrels, and the twist is you are moving everyone's viking, not just your own. Swing to knock a ball into a barrel, tip it over, and the matching viking token creeps forward, you choose which order to advance them, which means you can nudge a rival closer to the edge just as easily as protecting your own. Knock a viking clean off the dock and that triggers scoring on the spot. It won the 2019 Kinderspiel des Jahres, and it is loud, physical, and just mean enough to keep everyone paying attention.
