Flick the turtle down the river and be first to find all your animals.
Who it's for
Families with kids around five who like physical games with a bit of memory. Grownups enjoy it too, because flicking is surprisingly tricky.
Not for you ifβ¦
You want much strategy for adults. It is a light kids' game, and the flicking decides much of the outcome.
Vibe's take
Giggly and physical: every flick is a small drumroll, and kids cheer or groan as the turtle lands. Quick rounds keep little attention spans happy.
Turtle Splash! is a kids' game about a turtle who is late again for the animal meeting at the lake. On your turn, you flick the turtle down a river so it slides into the lake, then flip animal tiles to move forward on your own board. The first player to find all their animals wins. It mixes flicking, which is great fun for small hands, with a bit of memory, so children from about five can play without any rules explanation marathon. Adults get to watch the slow-motion flicking. It plays two to four players and a round takes around twenty minutes.
