About this game
Every dollar in this game is a knife aimed at someone. The Estates is a pure auction game where players bid on building floors to stack in a developing city, but the scoring twist is savage: only completed rows score positively while incomplete rows score negatively. This means you can intentionally sabotage opponents by placing floors that prevent their rows from completing. The closed economy ensures every bid is meaningful and every dollar spent is a dollar someone else earned.
