Who it's for

Players who enjoy compact engine builders with a real puzzle to optimize, and like an economic theme with an environmental twist.

Not for you if…

You dislike games where early efficiency choices can quietly punish you later β€” pollution here is a slow-building consequence, not an obvious warning.

Vibe's take

Quietly tense β€” every placement ripples through a row and column of cards, so you're constantly reoptimizing your grid while weighing short-term output against long-term pollution.

About this game

Terra Futura is an engine-building card game about designing a small, self-sufficient economy β€” cleanly or not. Each turn you pick a card from the shared display and slot it into your personal 3x3 grid, triggering every card in its row and column to produce resources. Rushing production and using shortcuts generates pollution, which can quietly choke off your own cards later, so the real challenge is building an engine that scores well without poisoning itself.
