A pencil-and-dice pinball machine with four tables, multiball, and a high score to chase.
Who it's for
You like pinball or want a pencil game that feels different from the usual grid-filling. Great as a solo high-score habit or a quick game with a friend.
Not for you ifβ¦
You want heavy strategy or a lot of conversation. It is a dice-driven high-score chase, and everyone mostly plays their own ball.
Vibe's take
Plinky, tactile and surprisingly tense, with the satisfying rhythm of a ball bouncing down and getting flipped back up. You always want one more ball to beat your own score.
A pinball machine you can play with a pencil. Geoff Engelstein turns the arcade classic into a roll-and-write: pick one of four tables, grab its backglass score sheet, then roll a shared pair of dice and send the ball bouncing. You choose one of the two dice, move your ball to a bumper or spinner, or aim one level lower with a matching number. At the bottom, you pick a flipper's roll to fire the ball back to the top. Do well and you unlock bonuses like multiball and score multipliers. The four tables, such as the carnival-style Carniball and the hacker-themed Cyberhack, each bring their own art and challenges.
