Two players work the spider's strings while everyone else races their ants to the finish and hopes she does not swoop.
Who it's for
Families with young kids who enjoy a race game with a bit of physical surprise and dice-driven turns.
Not for you ifβ¦
Your group wants strategic depth, because Spinderella is pure light-hearted luck and reflexes for the younger crowd.
Vibe's take
playful, tense in short bursts, silly, physical, quick
Spinderella turns two players into a spider's puppeteers while everyone races their ants across the forest floor. Roll to see whether you are steering an ant forward, nudging the tree trunk, or pulling the strings that lower Spinderella from her web, and if she swoops down onto a rival's ant, you get to speed one of yours along as a reward. Three little dice keep every turn different, and the spider's sudden drop always gets a gasp at the table. Light rules, big table presence, and just enough push-your-luck menace to keep six-year-olds and their parents both leaning in.
