Your plane falls through a 1937 sky portal, and the way home is buried in an atlas of stories.
Who it's for
One or two people willing to leave a campaign set up over weeks and who genuinely enjoy reading story text aloud. Standalone, so no knowledge of the first Sleeping Gods is needed.
Not for you if…
Setup and teardown are heavy and the campaign wants continuity, so it fits badly into a rotating game night. Four players means a lot of watching, and once the story is finished, there is little reason to open the box again.
Vibe's take
Slow, exploratory and quietly gripping, with long stretches of reading punctuated by a hard decision about which lead to chase before time runs out. Best with one or two people who can lean over the atlas together.
San Francisco, 1937: your cargo plane flies through a portal in the sky and lands in a strange world of scheming gods and unfamiliar creatures. One to four players share a crew and travel across a huge atlas of map pages, reading branching story entries as they camp, explore and hunt for relics. Combat runs on a deck you build up over the campaign.
