About this game

Someone at the table has to play the Sheriff of Nottingham, and everyone else wants to sneak contraband right past them. On your turn as a Merchant you declare what's in your bag, legal goods only, of course, and the Sheriff decides whether to believe you, wave you through, or rip it open and check. A well-timed bribe smooths things over; a bluff that gets caught costs you dearly. It is a game built entirely on reading faces and pushing your luck, loud, funny and just mean enough that the table never quite trusts anyone by the end.
