Race a rival detective team to crack the same case, guided only by pictures nobody quite agrees on.
Who it's for
Your group loves loud, real-time party deduction where reading a teammate's intentions matters more than reading rules.
Not for you ifβ¦
You want a calm, quiet strategy session, since full-team mode is fast, noisy and openly competitive between two sides.
Vibe's take
frantic, social, quick-witted, competitive, image-driven
Shadows: Amsterdam splits your group into two rival detective teams racing to solve the same case, using nothing but ambiguous picture cards to communicate. Your Intelligence Officer sees a clue card and must silently guide your team toward the right board spaces using only these open-to-interpretation images, while your Detectives try to read intentions correctly and fast, all happening at the same time as the other team scrambles too. Grab three pieces of evidence and reach your client before the rivals do, but wander onto a police space too often and you lose the round outright. Loud and frantic in full teams, surprisingly calm and cerebral solo or in pairs against the clock.
