Who it's for

Party groups who enjoy quick social bluffing and don't mind not knowing who's really on their team until the end.

Not for you if…

You want clear alliances from the start, since the entire fun here depends on nobody knowing who's actually with them.

About this game

Secrets hides two rival intelligence agencies at your table, and you will not know which allies are actually on your side until the very end. On your turn you reveal two spy characters and quietly offer one to another player, who can accept it into their collection or hand it right back to you, each choice a tiny bet about loyalties nobody has confirmed yet. A card or two of chaos comes from the Hippies, agents of nobody, who are just trying to end up with the least. Once everyone holds five cards the teams flip face up, and suddenly all that polite offering looks a lot more calculated than it felt.
