A legacy campaign of exploration, trade and sea battles where your decisions permanently change the game.
Who it's for
You have a steady group of three to five who want a long campaign with consequences and are willing to commit weeks or months to it.
Not for you if…
You want a one-off game night or cannot guarantee the same players each time. It is a long, heavy campaign with mixed reception for a reason.
Vibe's take
Slow-burning and consequential. Early rounds feel like discovering a new world, later rounds add rivalry and long grudges. It asks for patience, commitment and a group that actually shows up every time.
SeaFall is a legacy game: it changes permanently as you play, so every group ends up with a unique world and a unique history. Set in an age of sail where the world is rediscovering seafaring, you lead a mainland empire that explores new islands, trades, raids and fights ship to ship. Advisors shape what you can do each round, and the decisions you make stay in the game for good. It comes from the designer behind Risk Legacy and Pandemic Legacy but is far heavier and longer than either, and its mixed ratings come from how much it asks from the table. Do not buy it for a single evening; it is a commitment to one group.
