About this game
Qwirkle looks like dominoes had a baby with Scrabble, and that baby is made of satisfying wooden blocks in six shapes and six colors. You extend lines on the table by matching either color or shape, never both, scoring for every block in every line your play touches, sometimes in two directions at once. Complete a line of all six shapes or colors and you score a Qwirkle worth a fat six-point bonus, the moment every player is quietly hunting for. It teaches in under five minutes, works beautifully for a quick two-player duel or the whole family, and hides real spatial cunning under its chunky, tactile pieces.
