About this game

Poetry for Neanderthals hands you a word your team needs to guess, then takes away almost every word you'd normally use to describe it. As the caveman-brained Poet, you're only allowed one-syllable words, no exceptions, and the second you slip up and say something fancy like 'vegetable', the other team gets to bop you on the head with the NO! Stick and steal your points. Simple terms are worth one point, trickier ones three, and rounds fly by in a blur of grunted clues and gleeful stick-swinging. Loud, dumb in the best way, and genuinely funny even on the tenth play.
