Vibe's take
simple, suspenseful, physical, silly, quick
Penguin Trap is a tiny, wobbly dexterity duel built for little hands: a penguin balances on a block of ice, and each turn you carefully chip away a chunk without knocking the poor thing over. Every piece you remove makes the next player's turn scarier, and the tension builds fast even though the whole game is over in about ten minutes. There's real strategy hiding in the silliness too, since you can angle your chips to make things trickiest for whoever goes after you. Simple enough for a three-year-old to grasp instantly, with just enough suspense to keep older siblings leaning in too.
