A near-silent two-player co-op puzzle where you build a hidden garden through careful tile layering.
Who it's for
Two-player teams who enjoy quiet, communication-limited co-op puzzles and don't mind figuring things out through inference rather than talking.
Not for you ifβ¦
You dislike restricted-communication games β Niwashi deliberately keeps you from simply telling your partner what to do.
Vibe's take
Meditative but tense β you're constantly guessing at what your partner is trying to reveal, with only rare, deliberate clues to guide you.
Niwashi is a two-player cooperative puzzle game about building a Japanese garden together β almost silently. You and your partner place garden tiles on top of each other, layering colors and shapes across three plots, trying to reveal complete seasonal patterns neither of you can fully see. Communication is deliberately limited, so your main tool for coordinating is the lantern tile, which you can place to give your partner a single, careful clue.
