About this game
Nightmare Productions puts you in charge of a horror studio, and Reiner Knizia hands you his signature auction engine to run it. Four rounds, four chances to bid on the creatures, locations, directors and cameos that complete your film-strips, with the twist that some rounds let you grab pieces at horror cons for free before the bidding even starts. Finish your movies fast for bonus points, chase the best director or the wildest creature, or lean into the joke and aim for the year's worst film instead. It is Knizia's tight rising-bid tension wrapped in B-movie schlock, and it plays as sharp as it looks fun.
