About this game

Nacht der Magier hands each player a tiny cauldron and a wizard figure, then dims the lights, because half the fun is playing this one partly in the dark. You nudge your wizard onto a raised, glowing platform and push sideways against a ring of wooden discs, trying to slide your cauldron closer to the glowing ring at the center. Push too hard or too carelessly and a disc topples off the edge, and the moment you hear it clatter onto the table, your turn ends immediately. Whoever is bold enough to sneak their cauldron into the light first wins the round. It is a genuinely inventive push-your-luck game that swept up children's game awards across Germany, France and Switzerland for a reason, and playing it half-blind in a dim room adds real magic to a simple idea.
