A worker-placement grind on two rondels where cunning and shenanigans matter as much as efficiency.
Who it's for
Fans of resource management and worker placement who want a meatier, systems-heavy game with real stakes for underperforming.
Not for you if…
You want something breezy–two rondels, deck building, and a genuine loss condition make this a 120-minute commitment that punishes mistakes.
Vibe's take
Dense and calculating, with a real sense of dread when your VP track dips too close to disaster–this is a heavier, planning-forward game that rewards squeezing the most out of every rondel spin.
Mine 77 is a prequel to Factory 42, dropping you into the grinding, resource-hungry world beneath Odrixia's largest mine. You manage two interlocking rondels–one for above-ground administration, one for the literal grind underground–while playing work order cards to send your dwarven laborers mining, farming, and shipping goods. A light deck-building layer lets you upgrade your options over the campaign, and the game can end abruptly if your victory points crash to -10.
