Flip two cards, remember what you saw, collect the pairs.
Who it's for
Playing with small children who finally get to beat the grown-ups at something. Also fine for anyone who wants a game with no reading, no maths and no waiting around.
Not for you ifβ¦
There are no decisions here beyond paying attention, so if you want strategy this will feel empty. Small children genuinely outplay adults at it, which not everyone enjoys.
Vibe's take
Quiet and focused, with a small burst of smugness every time you flip the pair you spotted three turns ago.
A grid of face-down cards hides identical pairs. Flip two per turn: match them and you keep the pair and go again, miss and both cards go back down in exactly the same spot. Everything happens in your short-term memory, because there is nothing else to manage. Thousands of themed sets exist, from animals to artworks to film stills, but the engine underneath never changes.
