Blindfolded fox thieves feel through a box for the right animals, but their bags only hold four.
Who it's for
You have kids around seven who like silly, hands-on games. Fun for parents, who are often just as bad at feeling the right shapes.
Not for you ifβ¦
You want depth or strategy, or the idea of a blindfold bothers someone at the table. The game is simple and short.
Vibe's take
Giggly and tactile. Everyone concentrates hard with their eyes covered, and the table bursts into laughter when someone pulls out the wrong animal.
In Master Fox, the old fox master is looking for a successor among the forest's young thieves, and you are one of the contenders. Each round, three cards show which animals you must steal from the nearby cottage. The pawns are shuffled inside the box, you put on your fox blindfold, and you feel around for the right ones. But your bag only holds four catches, so you can't grab everything you touch. The game is tactile, quick, and silly, and it trains memory and pattern recognition for kids from about seven. A game takes twenty minutes, and the blindfold makes the table laugh.
