Punchy and a little chaotic: you roll, curse, and then find a card that turns the roll into a combo. The hero kits feel distinct, so each duel plays like a different comic fight.
About this game
Marvel Dice Throne lets you play one of eight Marvel heroes in a fast duel of dice and cards: Black Panther, Captain Marvel, Black Widow, Scarlet Witch, Loki, Thor, Doctor Strange, or Miles Morales Spider-Man. Each hero has a unique set of five dice and an asymmetric kit, so you roll to attack and trigger abilities, bank combat points, and spend them on cards that change the fight. Beyond 1v1, there are modes for 2v2, 3v3, 2v2v2, and free-for-all, so a group of six can all join in. Duels take roughly forty minutes, and the dice give plenty of swing.
